As an attorney specializing in domestic relations, Sarah Stuart has seen her share of agreements – legal and otherwise – gone bad. Very bad. As a result, she believes that the art of negotiation is key to every good deal. Learning how to decide what to agree to and terms that are unacceptable before shaking hands or signing on the dotted line is an important life skill. She should know. Before being admitted to Massachusetts Bar and joining Graham & Harsip, P.C., Sarah worked with justices of several Family Courts. She's performed legal research and wrote memoranda in areas of domestic relations and equity. These days, she acts as negotiator-in-chief between couples who want to separate or divorce. Sarah is convinced that teaching young ladies how to make the right decisions and resist pressure from their peer group is empowering. She is committed to helping girls shape situations to ensure that their interests are protected. From rules about curfew, buying that first car or interviewing for a first job, knowing how to negotiate is a valuable tool females can use throughout their lives.
